We built the tool our bar clients always needed

Y²K Cost Consultancy has spent years working alongside bars, pubs, wine shops and hotels across Maharashtra. One challenge kept coming up — excise compliance. Filing FLR-3A and FLR-4 registers manually is time-consuming, error-prone, and a recurring headache at audit time. So we did something about it.

We partnered with Novota Softec, a Mumbai-based software company, to create Novota BEC — Bar Excise Compliance. Y²K brought the domain knowledge: the Bombay Foreign Liquor Rules, real-world bar workflows, and the exact pain points of Maharashtra licensees. Novota brought the technology: a clean, dependable web application that puts FLR compliance on autopilot. Together, the two companies built something neither could have built alone.
